Seeking 2020 Applicants for the San Francisco Associate Board of Ambassadors (ABOA)
Are you looking to make an impact in the fight against cancer in the SF Bay Area, nationally and globally?
The American Cancer Society is actively recruiting new members for the San Francisco Associate Board of Ambassadors (ABOA). The ABOA is a dynamic group of professionals who seek to network with socially conscious peers (from industries like tech, legal, biotech and finance) and engage in the meaningful work that ACS is executing locally, including our mission to improve access to care and address social determinants of health that relate to cancer.
The ABOA will also participate in the San Francisco Discovery Gala- which is one of the top three American Cancer Society fundraisers in the country. The Gala seeks to raise more than $2 million in the effort to finish the fight against cancer. Nearly 500 high profile corporate sponsors, business and philanthropic leaders will be in attendance in 2020.
The Associate Board of Ambassadors (ABOA) strives to build a community of young professionals who assist in the American Cancer Society’s fundraising, advocacy, and volunteer efforts. When you join the ABOA, you will have the opportunity to network with leaders who are interested in making a difference in their community.
